You did a fabulous job transmitting the feelings of both the girl and the 
mom.  Whatever the medical problem, you went through hell!  Perhaps all of 
us have our own personal hell, but the hell of someone else can sound more 
severe.  Your mom sounds like a sweety.  I hope she enjoys the woman you
