[stylist] Sharing a writer's little joys

Hi Friends,

For the past two years, I have been going back and forth with Suite 101
about their article submission form; it works great, even the photo uploader
if you use the old one, but there's been one minor glitch. You need a
sighted person to open the edit field to paste in the body of the article.
Well, they've finally made the button work for screen reader users. I don't
know if this was a happy accident of re vamping their site, or if my writing
e-mails about it to every editor had something to do with it, but I'm
thrilled.

 

Also, in less than 24 hours, I received two notes from Suite 101 editors
praising my latest articles. I hadn't published anything since April because
of health issues, so this was a nice welcome back. The first one has been
nominated for an Editor's Choice award. I'll copy the links below my name.
The first is the chocolate cake recipe I posted last week that some had
trouble getting to open because it was showing up on two lines. The second
is a rags to riches story about the gal who gave us her recipe.

 

Anyway, just thought I'd share a little positive news for a change.
