[stylist] Blind driver challenge

Hi Bridgit,
In doing things in your own area, you are assisting all of us. In
separate messages, I will copy the press release I sent out about Denice
Brown. The formula is the same as those I used in which we got local
coverage for our Scholarship winners in PA, and I will post one of those
as well. Of course, the thing here is that Denice went, but they may not
have seen that as valuable because she didn't drive. A subject line like
"Local Blind Teen Wins Scholarship" is more enticing than just about
anything else. I should point out that there was an announcement to the
Blind Driver Challenge attendees from the NFB just before the event,
urging them to contact their local media and offering to do phone
interviews for radio from the track. I'm afraid most of them had no clue
and no time to find out how to do this, which I find upsetting. I should
note that I did these press releases in accord with my position as Media
Specialist for the NFB of PA, and we use the format used by Chris
Danielsen at the NFB's main office, which is what I also use for the
Performing Arts Division. If a person is the head of a local chapter,
obviously, they would use that information in the contact section. My
personal preference is to keep them between 250 and 500 words.
