Bridget,
Will this work with Windows 2003 or '98? I don not know what ribbons are.
Thanks.

Align right will not be what they are looking for. You want to place
the word count and your name, title and page number by inserting page
numbers and using a header.

Page insert:
Page numbers will be in the Insert Ribbon, to quickly access the page
number dialogue, press Alt and N, then press N and U, this will bring up
the page numbers dialogue, choose top or bottom, then choose format of
numbers (JAWS should read descriptions of format and alignment, but also
has visual sample) enter on format you want, it will automatically take
you into header view, so you don't have to necessarily do this
separately

For header:
If not doing through page insert, press Alt and V, which brings the menu
up, if doing from page insert, skip last step and follow the rest, then
press H, this turns on header/footer view, should automatically place
you in header of the current page, from here, do Control and R to align
then type your name and title, when finished, press alt and V then H
again, this will turn header view off

If you have questions, or would like someone to help you step by step,
ring Ross. He said he is willing to help. He's really good at this
stuff, he is the one who taught me!

Hi all,

I am formatting a short story to submit to a magazine and it wants the
word count on the top right of the first page.

I am using microsoft 2007.
Do I just right justify it?

Also they want my name, page number and title on the upper right corner
of each page.

I imagine there is an easy way to do this with making a header or
something? Anyone know how and want to share!

Thanks!

Write on,
Atty
