Many thanks. I did see the reference to CDT  on http://www.timeanddate.com
but stuck to CST since that is what Robert mentioned.

I am 5.5 hours ahead of UTC.

You are correct, the time difference between UTC and CST (Central Standard
Time) is 6 hours.  However, I believe the time Robert lists in his email
refers to CDT (central Daylight Time).  I also live in the Central Time zone
and we are on daylight savings time here in Milwaukee . In that case, the
time difference between CDT and UTC is only 5 hours. 

Robert, correct me if I'm wrong and you are referring to Central Standard
Time.

UTC stands for coordinated universal time which, as far as I know is the
same as GMT or Greenwich Mean Time.
