Hi Myrna,
I liked these too. I didn't get the original post for some reason, so I'm
doubly glad Robert responded. Is the 40 word poem a specific form or
something you are developing yourself?

The Curiosity piece made me think that --- I really understand poetry as a
form. It made me think that --- maybe somewhere in my jumble of thoughts,
that I do have heights or valleys in thought and phrasing that could stand
for the poetic voice.

Curiosity

We write of those  things
that make us wonder,
cause us to question,
even  reconsider
what we think we know
and understand.. I call
this the 'pen  of curiosity'...
may it always be 
filled with its unique
brand of  ink.

Whispering to stars and  moon
Those secrets that only shadows
Can share... swearing all to  secrecy
Until a new day deems they be brought
