[stylist] Haiku song lyrics

Hi Brad,
Thanks. Yes, I think of it as being about being trapped by our mistakes and
decisions. I hadn't thought of the wind itself symbolizing opportunity, but
re reading it, it does seem to be in there, though being stung by the salt
spray gives the wind another power or dimension.
Donna

I really like this. Very creative. To me it is about being trapped by
ones own decisions and mistakes in life, the writer feeling
unpardonable or at least must pay the price for those
decisions/mistakes. Promising herself to one day get out of the
situation but it doesn't come. The November wind is opportunity but
the bird can't see herself to fly in the state she is in, and soon
the wind stops and so goes opportunity. The day closes, the wind
stops and the caged bird is left reaching through the cage while the
free and wild birds fly about as she looks on through her self inflicted
bars.
