Marion, Unfortunately today there are many who believe that protecting our 
civil rights is protecting something that is offensive to some.  Travelling 
with a guide dog is our civil right today, but tomorrow there are some who 
think it's their civil right to tell us that dogs offend them for some 
reason that can be construed as their civil right.  In Minnisota there are 
areas where a customer can't get into a taxi with a package of bacon or 
bottle of alcahol.  It is against the religion of the driver to carry those 
products in his car.  Marion, I'm an orthodox Jew.  According to my religion 
I can't eat any products that come from the pig.  However, if my husband 
gives you a ride and you're carrying a package of bacon or ham he has no 
problem having those products in the car if they belong to someone else.
