Hi Friends,
As many of you know, I like pointing out Spell Check errors. Not only is it
a way to stress the importance of using this valuable but flawed tool with a
grain of salt, but it can be amusing.
Here is an example of how Spell Check confuses verb forms. I wrote:
Block quote
The audience clapped after each song, making Abigail feel good and
self-conscious all at once.
Block quote end
Spell Check wanted:
Block quote
The audience clapped after each song, making Abigail feels good and
self-conscious all at once.
Block quote end
"Abigail feels" would be just fine, if it weren't for that pesky "making!"
Cheers and enjoy your Memorial Day weekend,
Donna
