Hi Bill,
You sure can, as long as the subject is exactly the same. It's easy. Here's how.

These instructions assume that you are in your inbox.

1. Hit Alt + V for the View menu.

2. You land on a choice called "Arrange by."

3. Hit Right Arrow.

4. Arrow down to "Subject" and press Enter.

4. Find the subject of interest. Notice that you can open and close the thread and look inside.

5. To get rid of all of the messages in a thread, simply press Delete, and they will go to the trash.

6. To get your inbox back to normal, just go back to the View menu with Alt + V, find "Arrange by," find "By Subject," and press Enter again.

Jim

Good afternoon.

I know it's a bit away from the general subject matter here but we've
occasionally shared some computer tips.

I'd like to be able to delete a considerable number of emails that have the
same subject when I find that a topic is not of interest at the moment. It
would be easier to take of these quickly rather than having to delete say,
thirty or fifty or whatever the number of messages happens to be
individually.

How would I do such a thing using the keyboard?

Bill Outman
