Chris,
I did read your story once and avid it intending to read it carefully
several times more. I really thought it was "Kuell." The critiques you have
received since then were on target and most interesting as well as are your
follow-up comments here. Certainly your story is a keeper. It has renewed my
interest in Hemingway with a new interpretation of his work and what he does
not say. As a poet, this is all grist for my mill.

Thanks to those who took the time to read and comment on my story. Some 
parts are autobiographical, some parts are embellishments, and some parts 
are fictional. I believe all human beings are flawed, and hence all of my 
major characters are flawed as well. Hemingway, eh? I've certainly been 
compared to worse, so thanks. I'll try to show off my feminine side in my 
next installment.
