[stylist] blog newbie

Hi Amy,
never used those sites.  I've only blogged on the site I mentioned.  
what I typically do is:
write my text in ms-word;
do things like centering title, spell check, etc., in ms-word;
select all and copy to clipboard (I'm using windows xp);
go to the site via internet explorer;
type title in the first forms field;
type a brief description in the next field;
go to the content form field, and simply hit control-v to take contents of the clipboard and insert it there;
then tab down to the next items, a series of check boxes about how I want it listed etc.;
fill in a form next that is where I can list tags-tags are single words or phrases describing my blog (helps others who might be interested to find it, increases readership);
then I hit enter on the final button to submit it;
because comments posted under such blogs help it get listed, I usually post associated links as comments under my blogs;
then, I sit back and watch for responses--if you interact with commenters you get much more response (often my blogs will hack off some person or group, lol).
