Yes, I've been getting these emails too, but I assumed it was junk. I
usually delete them, but you think it's credible? They always address me
as Peter though. I'm not sure if this is how all emails are addressed,
or if my last name confuses whomever distributes the emails, but this
has been another reason why I no longer pay attention to them.

Since I get these e-mails often, and its not something that I've 
sought out, is anyone else getting  stuff from good ol' Heather at 
thumbtack.com looking for writers? Just curious. I run a couple lists 
for our songwriter organization as well and I see they get flagged as 
non-member once and a while as well. Anyone know anything about them. 
At first I kind of thought it was total bunk but they do actually 
have people in my area with a shingle out for writing and etc. That 
doesn't mean its not bunk, but was just curious. It's still in the 
"song shark" category for me.
