Hi Atti,
I'm not sure what happened  with the NFB and Kindle thing, but I do know that Amazon was working on a computer-based, accessible Kindle software that is free. They came out with the first version sometime back, and it was examined, I believe, by NFB people, and a press release was created that praised the program as a first step in the right direction. I haven't heard anything about it since.

So when the big kendle reader train wreck occured, anyone know what the out-come was? Is there a follow up?
Is the NFB still involved?


I know I talked to my writers group about it and wrote a letter to the writers guild, but I haven't followed up to see what the status is. .

Will the kendle be accessible? I wrote to their product development group, and that was hard to find, and suggested they put a stylus on the kendle so authors could sign their ebooks and asked when it would be accessible to blind people.
