[stylist] Synesthesia in literature

Another book that uses Synesthesia is "The Witches of Karres" by James H. Schmitz.  In this book these images are used to denote recognizing the presence of an alien (extrauniversal) entity through a sense other than one of the five normal senses.  An interesting literary device.

Vehas, you might like the book if you haven't read it already.  Its imaginative, well written, and has a lot of fun in it.

I read a book about that disorder, it was A Mango Shaped Space by 
Wendy Mass.  It was really good, and the main character had it.
I believe I might have it.
