I meant to say I love the author Stuart Woods and have several of his
books in audio and print... and yes I do hold the books while I listen.

Lynda, I meant to mention the SMELL of the book in my last message.. It
doesn't matter how old the book is either. The older the better is how I
think. I love to hold and breathe it all in. I love the author and I do
have
one of his books in both audio and print... and yes I do hold the book
while I listen sometimes. I am working on audio books for my last three

books of poetry. I had one almost done but partner in crime
unfortunately fell
ill and even though he claimed he could finish the project I put on my
'mother' face and said "no way" so it will be done when it is done.

ah, me too! You know I go to amazon.com sometimes and check out the new
books available in poetry. then, I get carried away, and before I know
it,
I
am clicking on the ones I want. I order them, knowing I cannot read them!
I
have several new ones on the way right now. I just cannot get beyond the
desire to hold a book. I would say that is what I miss most of all in my
life - that I cannot hold a book, sit down on the couch with a nice
comforter around me on a cold day, and sip my coffee as I read my book.
And,
did I mention, the SMELL of a book? The touch of it? The colors of the
covers? The arrangement of the text inside the book? ahhhhh.
