[stylist] Thursday's word on Friday: flotsam

This is hilarious to me at this moment.
I just got home from delivering an art work of mine to a gallery. The name
of the work is "Flotsom and Jetsom"
and it is a wall sculpture I created from debris I collected from the Ohio
River. Now, how often do you SEE a work like that ? IRONIC!

Evidently I sent Fridays' word Thursday and now vice versa.

Flotsam

FLAHT-sum

(noun)

1. Floating wreckage of a ship or its cargo; broadly: floating debris
2. a.) A floating population (as of emigrants or
castaways, b.) An accumulation of miscellaneous or unimportant stuff

"The only flotsam found when searching for the
Edmund Fitzgerald the night it went down was a
wooden rowboat tossed amid the swells of the storm."

Brad Dunsé

"Every day is a new one full of hope and
possibility, absolutely unaffected by those
previous to it, minus the wisdom gained by their passing." --Capt'n Frank
