Henrietta,
This is great. I know there are some out there, if you can find them.

Hi Folks,
I want to let you know that for the first time since ranges have had touch
pads, I can set my own oven. I got a whirlpool this fall and the touch pad
has textured dots for each item. I want to write a review on it but wanted
to make sure I could use all functions.

I have cleaned the oven, used presets, and broiler as well as the timer.
What a joy.

I have a slide in version which cost a bit more then the free standing but
the controls are in the front. If I have to spend time finding a dot, I want
to do it without reaching over a hot stove.

bread machine or oven without sighted assistance. That is small potatoes
compared to the issues you present. I am glad you considered all nonprint
readers not just the totally blind. I was very disappointed that you only
mentioned Jaws. Window eyes is a great screen reader with great tech
support who will work with people to make things work for individual
programs. There is a lot more I can say about Window eyes. Seems like a
lot of State agencies have settled on Jaws without considering other
options. this does not mean that government agencies should not have to fix
accessibility out of the box, but I was disappointed that you did not
include Window Eyes.
