How about producing a special issue on the Website? Let S&S do the initial stories first, then proceed.

Subject: [stylist] Publishing of Contest Entries

Well guys and gals: Normally what we've done is let the editor of "Slate &
Style" have the first crack at publishing winning entries for our contests.
Know that not all winners get published. And so this means to see some of
these pieces, there is a wait of 1 or 2 issues of "S&S" before you would see
them., those which are chosen for publication. Eventually, we are talking
about posting winning entries up on our Division's website, but again, they
would not all appear there until after they had a chance to be showcased in
"S&S."

To be published within "S&S" is a special honor. Though, I sure enough see
how that is a time delay issue and in some respects a bummer for those of us
who would really like to see all the good stuff, like now!

(Any suggestions?)

Jackie, I got mine about a week ago. I was so surprised as I did not know
that they gave monetary prizes - but very happy to receive them!

I was also wondering if there is any place that the award winning writings
are published. I would love to read everyone else's winning pieces. Do you
know if they are published at all?
