[stylist] Lynda, A collaborative poem to go with your Togetherness poem

Ah, I did not know there were other poems with it.  l o l
Yes, we are biker people from the get-go. I grew up on bikes; my parents 
rode.

Motorcycles have been one of my passions since a small child. Yes, we have 
five of them in the garage presently. Mine is called The Blue Dragon - she 
is a completely custom bike and the paint job on her is amazing. There is 
the head of the Blue Dragon on my tank. As I rode along I would lay my hand 
on her.  Her body and tail goes all the way along the bike to end just above 
the end of the back fender.  Along the two sides of the bike, are two 
leopards that are running as fast as they can. When you have a closer look 
at the back fender you quickly figure out why that is - the third leopard on 
the back fender is being choked to death by the dragon's tail!  There are 
symbols on the bike (St. John's Cross), initials, and lots of tribal 
markings. And, then if that is not enough, at night, I can throw a switch 
under my seat, and neon lights illuminate the bike and ground. Green Neon 
Lights.
Of course, I have not been able to ride her now for 4 1/2 years, so my 
husband takes her out for a ride now and then. I won Best of Show awards on 
her ever time I entered her in a bike show. And, when I would stop to 
anywhere and park her, people would gather around her to have a look because 
she knows how to draw a crowd. And, my Vanity license plate, in German, is 
BLAU. The  thing I DESPISE  most about sight loss, is that I can no longer 
ride with the wind.  It was the greatest feeling to be alone and riding that 
bike down the highway; or riding to meet up with a girlfriend for the day of 
riding in the sunshine and going wherever the day would take us. I have only 
rode on the back with my husband twice since then, and I  dislike  being a 
passenger - it is nothing like being on your own on your own bike. Once I 
had my own bike I never again rode with anyone else. I have lots of biker 
stories from my experiences...and when I am with those friends we laugh so 
much and talk about our adventures together.

One former student recently found me on FB, and she proudly told me I was 
her inspiration and that I was the only woman she had ever known who rode 
her own bike. She now has her own bike and does not even own a car - rides 
her bike everywhere. Go girl!
