[stylist] Agenda

Myrna,
Yes, we are so excited. We got this idea last year to put together a little
art retreat for four or five people who are artists. We wanted to make it in
a central place so we all could come and no one have to drive so much more
than the others - we come from PA and KY - so we chose southern Ohio for the
place it would be. Two of the artists searched and found the place and made
the arrangements, then we will all meet there for the week long event.
Wouldn't something like this be great for a small group of writers to do,
too? It would be so noursihing to be able to do that - write during the
day, get together each evening to share our thoughts and what we are working
on and read to each other...I can envision that. Does NFB ever have such
things as workshops where a group of writers could get together for an
extended period of time apart to do nothing but writing and sharing with
fellow writers? I would love to be involved in such a project. There is no
substutute for being together, face to face, and getting to know each
other - so much is lost when things are done only through a computer - there
is no real connection to the person and no real dialogue because most of
what is important is done face to face with other colleagues.
