[stylist] Awards and Coffee Cans

Hi Jackie,
Yes, I had been assured that they would have everything I would need - I had
given them a LIST just to be sure they had it right, and had sent my list to
the workshop leader as well. And, sure enough, there was nothing there that
a blind person could use - sheesh! You are so right - Just another example
of people who have risen to their level of inefficiency.

What I also forgot to say is that my daughter has four paintings in this
show, and best of all, our two great grand daughters are in the show, too,
and one of them was awarded a prize for her painting, too. The show had no
age restrictions. My two great grand daughters are 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 years
old. This is the fourth generation of artists in the family. The girls paint
in their back yard in the afternoons. Their mom gives them the paints and
the canvas and off they go, doing paintings. It is so funny. they get it all
over themselves, too. We about flipped when the 1 1/2 year old started
painting. We still cannot believe it - but she just takes hold of her brush
and she is off on a mission. Their Mom is so thrilled with them and is so
proud of them.

Lynda
