What a great word!
My latest pottery platter came through the last firing in perfect condition
this week. The depth of the cool forest blue-greens of the glazes have a
lambent effect that appears to hold images of sky, earth, trees, rocks, and
aquatic life. When you peer down through the depths of the waters they are
not only reflecting the sunlight but the very life of the of the river.
On the platters edge, a small amber snake weaves its way across the
surface of the waters.
