Andi,

Welcome to Stylist. You will find a vast wealth of information and
resources on writing here as well as discussions pertaining to writing.
Sometimes members post their material for constructive criticism.

The Writers' Division, which Stylist is one form of communication
directed by the division, has a magazine dedicated to writing, Slate &
Style. Our winter issue will be releasing soon once our Braille and
print people get them distributed. We offer Braille, hard-copy print and
electronic formats, and members of the Writers' Division receive Slate &
Style free of charge. You can contact Robert Leslie Newman, president,
Writers' Division, at newmanrl at cox.net if you wish to join.

You can also submit pieces to Slate & Style to be considered for
publication. You do not need to be a member to submit. If you would like
more information about the magazine and submission guidelines, you can
contact me at bpollpeter @hotmail.com.

I recently graduated with my BFA in creative writing, so I finally have
time to work on a full-length manuscript. I too suffer from the stopping
and starting syndrome, grin. I write a blog for the Omaha World Herald's

I also do independent PR for various people and groups in my area. I
mostly work with communications such as news releases and newsletters
along with advertising and event planning.

Hello:
I am Adrianne, or Andi, which ever you prefer.  I just joind the list
and am looking forward to it.  I am not published but am writing a novel
and hope to someday publish it.  I write mostly historical fiction but
once and a while I will have an idea for something totally out of my
normal genre. I also love poetry and I love to read.  How many of you
are published, where can I find your works?  I am looking forward to
getting to know you all.
