Lynda,
This is an instant response to your poem, with little evaluation.
I love the juxtaposition of your two selves, two worlds, the light and the
dark, the heat and the cool, the pain and the healing. Please let that half
of yourself still write your poetry for us.
It seems to me a masterful poem, one not able to be written in an afternoon.
I have saved it with the notation, "To be critiqued.
