Barbara,
I agree, good idea and I was going to suggest that. Another thing, search on 
yahoo groups. There already may be a list devoted to the topic you all want 
to discuss.

You know, since there are a lot of you here that wish to discuss this--and
it may be a subject that may generate some writings--you could talk about it
on the writer's chat list.  No one uses that list any more so ...
After all, it was created for folks to talk about topics off writing
techniques.
