[stylist] Not Choice but Destiny, a sestina, per Lynda

Lynda,
I will attach my one and only sestina again. I started with a theme in my
mind. I am not sure I picked the words first. I think I did after following
some suggestions in the Writer Magazine, on how to choose words.
It is perhaps a timely poem right now since gay and lesbian marriages are a
national issue. It is also a reflection of my scientific bent in keeping up
with all things having to do with the influences on the human being,
genetics, environment, etc. Also, I have at least five good friends who are
either homosexual, or have children who are, and the suffering this caused
by not acknowledging their true natures. Also, the continued suffering they
experienced if they did come out took it out of the realm of choice, for me.
I am not sure my belief has come through in an understandable way. My best
friend's son, who is a well-known doctor, was the inspiration for this.

Jackie,
I do not remember a sestina that you contributed?
How did I miss that?
Can you send it to me?
Sometimes I miss attachments so maybe that is what happened. I would have
commented, I am sure, if I had read it. So sorry.

Lynda
