[stylist] Dave, here are some bubbles

Dave,
I truly appreciate your response to this issue.
There are hundreds of alternative methods of healing: Reiki, the Medicine
Wheel, Healing stones and crystals, essential oils, magnets, Transcendental
Meditation, ad infinitum. All of these can be googled, and then pursued
using other methods. Enthusiasm for these topics could multiply to the
extent this subject line has, and further decrease our ability to open each
post, be selective, and devote our precious time for writing to another end.
I may be jaded because I have tried all of the above and know the costs
monetarily, emotional toll when they do not work, and use the true healing
craft, writing, to come to some conclusion.
Please find attached, the poem named Bubbles, written about my extensive
experience with Transendental Meditation. A humorous treatment of something
that is gaining some credence. Except, of course, the ability to fly.
I am sure there will be at least ten more posts on this subject, so I am
getting my poems on alternative healing all in a row to keep submitting to
all.
Jackie

No, it is ridiculous that you want to make this into an issue, when I
don't think it is.

The purpose of the crafters list is to learn how to do crafts as a
blind person -- using alternative techniques. I don't see how
healing and alternative learning are directly related to
blindness. I could be wrong, and maybe there is something there
-- but it isn't good enough for you to say we are all blind persons
doing this together.

The second test of a list is that there is a demonstrated desire by
enough people to make it work, over a period of time. A few people
just won't cut it. If you don't have 50 to 100 persons on a list, at
least, it tends to just sit there and languish.

If you can convince me that there are genuine blindness issues here
-- and there is demonstrated interest, I will reconsider.

Dave
