Vejas,
I would find it disturbing especially if it were described in detail. Now I
understand. Well, I'm sure you'll find some better books to read that won't
cause nightmares.

The book focuses on a boy whose parents get divorced and his
mother is mentally not there. She thinks this
psychiatrist, Dr. Finch, is helping her a lot. The boy is
forced to stay in Dr. Finch's house.
The 2 main parts I found disturbing were that first of all, in
Dr. Finch's office, he had a Masturbatorium and would go out and
do IT in between patients. The second part I found disturbing
was that there was a six-year-old boy, Dr. Finch's grandson, who
was pooping RIGHT in the middle of the FLOOR. I don't know
about you, but I found it pretty disturbing.

Vejas,
What was Running with scissors about? What was so bad about it?
War?
I'm planning to read a memoir soon as well.

Currently, I'm reading The Secret Life of Bees.
A couple weeks ago, I got this book, 500 Great Books for Teens,
and have really loved it because if I need something to read all
I have to do is look at the titles and summaries and see if
they're available in electrnic format. That's where I learned
about the book I'm currently reading.
A couple of weeks ago I tried to read Running with Scissors, a
Memoir, which was classified as 14-18 age range, I think. But
many of the scenes were so unimaginably horrible that I couldn't
read it any more. I could handle the swearing, but many of the
incidents were just things that you wouldn't really expect.
