[stylist] Be thankful

Chris and Robert, Thanks. Just thought it was something to think about.
Something that keeps things in perspective. If nothing else we need to know
that what we are thankful is truly deserving of the gratitude. Are we
thankful for our new big screen television or for our families health and
safety. I myself had to think of this and learn this lesson as one day
recently I was a little depressed about my current living situation, which
I knew was going to be rough leaving all my belongings in Idaho for a time
and doing without. I was dealing with this depression when I got a call
from my best friend in Atlanta, Georgia. Her house had burnt down to the
ground with her being the only one home with her guide dog and two pets. So
thankfully no one was hurt even though they lost everything. Makes you
think just as we should also remember our history. Chris, my ancestors did
not come here until much later also and I am thankful that I come from
people who have been persecuted rather than those who have done the
persecuting. Our histories make us who we are and even if we are not a part
of it, our country was and we need to recognize so we do not go back to it.
Like Dr King said, "I have a dream." I also have a dream of the past and I
want to learn from it. ;) Eve I do hope you have enjoyed your holiday
whatever the history behind it.
