Maybe you could be the go-to person who uses FB with JAWS or some
other
reader program?
I use Zoom Text, and I only use JAWS to read my emails - don't
use it on-www
at all.
Once I learned how to use FaceBook, I love it.

I'm relatively good on Fb but I don't think I should run the
page as a)
I'm quite busy (in the middle of my final school exams. and b)
I'm so new
to the list
But I'm happy to answer questions where I can (I'm totally
blind, use
Facebook on a BrailleNote and a laptop)
I think it's a great idea :)

Writers' Division membership and STYLIST:
RE: Members on STYLIST are wanting to make this happen!
Do we have anyone here interested in volunteering to set us up
on FB (Face
Book)? This would also need a strong element of training to
those of us
who
are not FB savvy --- for the visual and the non-visual computer
users.
Interesting- I, as the Chair of the NFB communications
committee, have set
up an FB Trainers Team to assist Affiliates, Divisions, and
chapters to
get
going on FB. And so --- yeah, in relation to the Writers'
Division
getting
on to FB --- where has my head been? --- I've made a few
discrete
inquiries
of our membership, and the FB Trainers Team is swamped. But
with all that
said --- more effort is needed for us to make our jump into FB
happen.
And
so here we are and here we go!!! Contact me if you have FB
skills and
interest to get us going! (Several individuals would be best,
like a small
team; the visual and nonvisual navigation and knowledge of FB's
general
workings needs addressing. )
(Super nice to see ideas fueled by need and expansion of our
skill base is
happening.)
