That's true. Didn't even think about that.

I know Chris wants to drop this, and I'm OK with that, but I did want to
point out, in fairness to the integrity of this list, that if a blind writer
and editor is forced to resign his position, it is appropriate, IMO, to
discuss that on this list. I submit to you that had one of us held a
position as the editor of say a university paper, and had that person been
pushed out of a long held position, there wouldn't be any attempt to stifle
conversation about it on this list.

Bridgit, that's when you go to the writer's chat list. It's this topic and
such off stuff that we wanted that list for. It's stuff we want to talk
about sometimes but it has nothing to do with writing, and yet it can be the
inspiration that leads you are someone else to write.

And I was waiting for it. There she be, folks.

No rehashing or dealing, merely sharing an opinion based on other recent

Bridgit, there is politics everywhere -- we are not immuned in the NFB.
However, I would add two things -- first, this list probably isn't the most
appropriate place to hash this out, and secondly, there are generally two
sides to every story, and we are only hearing one. I am not trying to
impugn the character or reputation of Chris in any way. However, things are
often more complex than we first might think.

Dave
