OH, My goodness, Robert, you have made me laugh out loud!

OK, the color of the house story:

My husband and I were driving through another town up in the PA mountains,
Indiana, PA. As we rode past a house painted BLACK, we were absolutely
thunderstruck by it's beauty. We rode back to have a closer look at it.
Yes, it was black. But, the next thing we noticed was the sigh outside the
house. It was an attorney who had this house, and his last name is
"Lambert." This was just too much. We could not believe what we had found,
and that we had the same last name, too. We simply had to have a black
house.

We drove to our daughter's home after we had looked at the house the second
time. We told our daughter and her husband about what we had seen and how we
wanted one like it. And, here comes the third amazing thing: our son-in-law
is a professional contractor and HE HAD MIXED the COLOR for this job! He
GAVE US his RECIPE for the color - and he had it mixed up at the
Sherwin-williams store there in Indiana, PA. So, we took the recipe back to
our city, and had it mixed up for our house.

When I told my mother we were going to paint our house black, her response
we not very positive. She said, "OH, NO, people will think you are a witch!
Nobody has a black house, and it will stand out like a sore thumb."

We got the paint, and Bob painted the house. My mother happened to be
driving by our home shortly after it was finished. She told me, "I had to
turn around in your neighbor's driveway, and then sit there on the hill just
looking at your housse for awhile. It was so beautiful I could not believe
it. It looks wonderful!"

The black is mixed using a green BASE - so the Black is a soft black, and
because the house sits in the woods surrounded by very old trees, it seems
to just hover there in the shadows. It has a magic quality to it, and people
come by just to look at it. I always give directions to tell people, "When
you are driving along the river road, just keep going. You will come to only
one house on that entire road (it's a couple miles long). When you come to
the black house, pull in, you are there. You will see no other house on
this side of the road but ours."

That is the story, and I am sticking to it. lol

BTW, my motorcycle is for SALE at Moravia Motorcycles in West Pittsburgh, PA
if anyone is interested in a super cool, and fantastic motorcycle. I cannot
drive it any longer and I want it to be enjoyed by someone else who loves
dragons and magical scenes on a motorcycle.
