[stylist] Using cane or dog

I have found that waoking sided guide is easier many times because I walk so
much faster than everyone. It gest annoying because then people try to
"Help me." Also, our cues are different, so rather than waok with a cane
while with people, I walk holding their arm. I have a quick power stride,
and I walk very aggressively. The other method I enjoy practicing is
following someone. It's great practice to keep my skills sharp.

Yes, this is my experience, too. When I have my cane with me, I feel such a
freedom when walking with another person. I really cannot stand anyone
taking my arm at any time - using a sighted guide would be so cumbersome to
me. The cane gives me a sense of balance and assurance.
