tried a bit of mud coding, another mud client i find works well is VIP mud. 
30 dollars for the full vip program,  but muds are fun.  i'm more into the 
playing of them, over the coding of them but still.

star conquest for the win if you're into space muds

and i'll leave it at that.

vip does work well with jaws.  i prefer it over mushclient but that's me. 
no switching to the jaws curser.  just tab between output and entry windows.

Hi there,

Well there are different programs to help you write them. The multi-user
ones, like on the mudconnector have different code bases.  I can code in mux
and mush, and if you want to create one and don't have a coder, things can
be very daunting. The building is the easest part.

I say jump in with both feet!
I use mush client, but there are other accessible programs you can use to
play the muds.
