This would not be me trying to sell you something or make a ton of money. It would be something that would pretty much pay for itself if enough people are interested. If it makes a few bucks, that's a bonus, but that's not the aim. My idea was to share with the group what I know about WordPress, since that is a pretty nice way to create a site if you don't want to know all that tech stuff. I would work with you by telling you where to go and what to do to get your site up, and help you get a domain name, and do my best to help you get going. I'm busy, so I can't actually spend hours and hours with each person. I know, though, that for some of us, some web hosts can be a stretch to pay for. For those of you who don't have a site now, we could start from scratch. For those of you who have sites, maybe you'd want to migrate when renewal comes up for your domain name. For those of you who have free blogs, I shouldn't have to tell you that a domain name is the way to go if you really want exposure. If you have a site on WordPress.com, you already know that you don't get total control over the way your site runs and works. For accessibility, that can be a problem. Believe me, I know. I had a site there, and I have two sites using WordPress at a commercial host. I've also had a Blogger blog. I've also administrated and built web content from scratch and have run and built some Drupal sites.
