[stylist] Business Documents and The Sections They Contain

Jim --- boy that would be interesting reading, an outline of that type of
document. (Can you get your hands on a few of those types of manuals and
take a look yourself? [bet there isn't a set of "written-down" rules]). But
hey, I really don't know, yet think that it could be a good nitch for one of
us to fill --- research, compile styles and put an outline together that
appears to be the most effective format for a tech manual.

Does anyone know of a resource that explains the various types of business
documents in terms of the sections they should contain? For example, a
software manual should contain these sections, or a white paper should
contain those sections, or a departmental procedural document should contain
these other sections.
