Jim,
Have you Googled "preparing business documents" or preparing "white papers
or "format for ..." etc.? My guess is that there are business writers who
blog about this, but I don't have time to look it up. I'm sure that
different businesses have different criteria, so if you're doing something
that is industry specific or specific to one company, you should Google
that.

Subject: [stylist] Business Documents and The Sections They Contain
Hi,
Does anyone know of a resource that explains the various types of business
documents in terms of the sections they should contain? For example, a
software manual should contain these sections, or a white paper should
contain those sections, or a departmental procedural document should contain
these other sections.
Thanks.
Jim
