[stylist] not another convention notice

And then there are those of us who dearly love the Federation (and Federation philosophy) but, thanks to the Federation, have other things (work, family, other volunteer responsibilities, etc.) that take up time and energy. For such people, the convention is a wonderful thing, but in the balance with everything else, it is a pleasure we need to forgo.

So, ironically, one of the goals of Federationism is to create blind federationists who are too busy to go to National Convention (smile).

Not a rant, just a thought.

Personally, I don't care about the abundance of emails. This is a Federation sponsored listserve, so it's expected to see frequent messages from the organization especially during convention season.

However, I see the point of those not going or not interested in going.
Not everyone joins the organization for it's actual purpose. And the divisions afford a lot of people to participate in a area of interest without having to be a part of the greater organization and it's greater purpose.

Or perhaps some don't consider convention to be all it's cracked up to be.

At the end of the day, deleting isn't that big of a deal though.

Well since we are all members of the NFB. Then whether or not you are going shouldn't make a difference. The convention is going to be streaming.
Yes you can delete if you like, then if you do then how do you know what you will be missing. Maybe next year you may want to go and help out or go to a meeting etc.

on all of the NFB LISTS serves. Because of this I thought I would post something a little different. I have started going to this poetry walk group on Wednesday evenings. We take a little walk or hike in a different nature type of lccation each week, at sunset and then create at that time. We recite and polish. It is fun and inspirational. This is the little poem I wrote this evening. When I say 'write' i mean put to memory as I have no way of writing and reading without my laptop. This actually is a great exercise for me to learn to memorize as I am not very good at that. Well, I have attached above and will try to
