[stylist] Toot Toot- CLEAR DIRECTIONS for YOU

It means that the task on Amazon has not been created in a way that's
compatible with JAWS. This is why groups like the NFB are trying to get
websites to be created so that JAWS will work better with them. In my
experience, fewer and fewer sites don't work with JAWS. Amazon obviously
has features that don't work with JAWS. So it's not that JAWS doesn't
work with Amazon, it's that Amazon isn't created to be fully accessible
with a screenreader. I guess it's perspective. And as I've stated many
times already, this is the first time I've not been able to do something
on Amazon with JAWS. So it's not the entire website but this one
feature. I'm sure there's probably more inaccessible features I haven't
come across, but I've purchased films, music, clothes, toys, home and
kitchen supplies, baby items and more without having issues. Whatever
info is available about a given product has always been readable by
JAWS, and the check-out process has not been an issue. This is the first
time I've not been able to get more info on a product on Amazon.

So, I am thinking that the accessibility problem is not amazon, but JAWS

that does not allow you to access it on a PC, but does on a MAC?

>> Lynda,

>> As I said, I'm pretty well aquainted with searching on Amazon. Part

>> you say, "Near the search bar, designate your search for "books" on
