My blog is a celebration of art and literature - the journey of the blind artist and writer. Today's blog is on the artists, John Bramlitt.  

When my friend, Suzanne Gibson, was quickly losing her eyesight a few years ago, she saw a video and art work at the Akron Museum of Art, Akron, Ohio. Learning about John's work inspired Suzanne to continue to paint and run her wonderful gallery, "River's Edge Studio and Gallery" in New Brighton, PA.

I met Suzanne through a mutual friend who realized Suzanne was losing her eyesight, and though we should meet. I sell my art through her gallery. The really wonderful thing is that Suzanne did not know anything about blind rehab. and I was able to direct her to the "HELP" she so much needed.  Due to this help she received, she is now able to run her gallery and do all the work involved with it all by herself. And, she is painting full time again. 

Suzanne and I are currently planning a two person show at a museum and the theme  of our show will be "Vision, Re-Vision."

It's a small world, isn't it!
