Subject: [stylist] A poem about the colors os sky.

With the discussion of colors and our individual perceptions of them, words kept nudging me to write a few words about them. I finally gave in and wrote this quick little piece. I have included it in body of email and also attached it in Rich Text Format. Hope you all enjoy!

My Skies

I have colored skies
in transparency of azure
and have imagined them
as indigo after a summer storm.
They have bled for me
the blue of midnight,
when stars whisper their secrets.
They have wept for me
the honesty of deep cerulean,
when nature creates a flawless canvas.
And have enlightened me
with green-tinted cyan,
when the sea has touched the sun,
and intrigued me with scattered bits
of royal porcelain as day slips into night.
My skies have shared their journeys,
their destinies,
their shades and shadows
in the colors of blue.
