I also have had that same problem. Only a few times and somehow I've gotten
it to work, and I'll be darned if I can figure out what I did to fix it! So
I'm not in a position to give you advice. (I swear it will adjust, and work
right if you just select the search option you desire and it happens, and
remembers for next time, too. (Don't forget to reboot, if and when Windows
starts acting stupid.)

Make sure you don't have Jaws set for quick keys. Jaws key+z toggles hotkeys
on and off. I don't know for sure, but that's where I'd start.

Does anyone no why the fine feature in word keeps defaulting back to finding
headings instead of results.  If I copy paste something into find feature,
it sayd find next heading.  Trying to hit enter or space on search results
doen's work.  Is there a setting some where?
