Hi all, I have spent mose of the last week in Phoenix at an
orientation. Though I have perused my email and responded to a few, I
have read many and found them entertaining. I justt have the time to
respond to everyone, sorry. I did laugh at the orientation and thought
of you all when I watched a video about the Colorado School for the
Blind. There was one slight scene that showed a girl learning to read
Braille and she was reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
I had forgotten this part and am going to have to do another reread,
but I thought I would share it with you all. I thought it was funny as
this what we have been talking about recently. Well, the part she read
was when Hermione was warning Harry not to sneak out to Hogsmeade
because Dumbledor had told them that dementors could see through
invisibility cloaks. Now this made me think. Was this a mistake on
Rowling's part? Was Dumbledor mistaken? Or what is the explanation
here, if any? Later, in The Deathly Hallows, Harry is concealed from
dementors by he cloak though he felt a slight draining from them.
Well, I do not actually remember the specifics on this and would love
some discussion here. Still, chuckle at how this came up when we were
discussing the very thing. Let me know what you think and remember to
laugh a little. It feels good and chases away the Boggarts. Eve
