Hi:

Thanks so much to Donna Robert and Bridgit for your sage advice. I've
already been working on some of those things, and am encouraged by some of
your other suggestions.

I fortuitously landed an opportunity to do an Author talk at a public
library, and I've posted a short story related to the novel on a
story-sharing site. I'm slowly working on building my twitter presence, and
have already tapped friends and family to buy the book, but more importantly
to help support me by spreading the word. I'm planning to approach a couple
of radio programs that I might be able to pitch something to: feels like a
long-shot but what have I got to lose?
