Hi Donna,
Downhill. I want to try water-skiing, though.
Thanks for your input; it's based on the character entirely.

Vejas,
Down hill or cross country?

About your sentence. My first thought is that the use of the
word "such"
depends on the personality and speech habits of the narrator. Is
this person
so direct and suscinct that he would just say, "..., he is a
child," or
would that be too blunt? "He is such a child," is a bit more
theatrical and
also, IMO, a bit more casual. Listen to your narrator talking
about other
things, and he'll give you the answer.
Cheers,
Donna

Hi all,
I have a new e-mail account for my list-servs, as you can
probably tell
(yes, I ski too.) I have a question about the best way to phrase
the
following
sentence:
"In my opinion, he is such a child."
The adult in my story is someone who, despite being mature, still
appreciates things from when he was younger, and the narrator is
a
self-centered teen. Is it better to use such a child, like a
child, or just
stick to a child?
Thanks so much.
Vejas
