[stylist] OFF topic

That's what I'm wondering. And the buttons aren't always the same
depending on the page and function.

Perhaps they just allow you to find a button without searching all over
the screen, but you still have to determine what that button is with the
voice-over? Like you find a tactile marker with the lay-over, and the
voice-over identifies the actual function since the buttons aren't
always the same.

Also, any of the icons (A.K.A. buttons) can be moved. This includes the
phone and message icons, so how does this work with an over-lay?

I don't deny a tactile device such as this would be great, but on the
flip side of the coin, I don't think the touch-screen is all that
difficult to use, and this is someone who was very skeptical about using
a touch-screen, grin.

I've heard of this.  But , what does it do when the buttons on the

The overlay is a thin plastic sheet that has dots for all the letters
except f and j--just the reverse of a keyboard. And it has a dot where
the send button occurs in messages, a dot where the back button and the
cancel button is and a dot in the miedle of the screen. I find it to be
very useful. It also hav five dots spaced across the bottom to hit
various things down the and a dot where the purchase apps button occurs
in the app store. So, let's see if I can actually describe where these
dots are. There is one in the upper left--not quite at the top. On the
right there are two of them in the upper part--one above the other. The
re is the dot in the middle of the screen. There are all the letter
buttons and the extra five in the lower part of the screen. Just
abovethe  p keyis  the one onthe  send button. It is no problem to use
this with VoiceOver. No interference what so ever. It's as thin as the
ones that come withthe  phone, exceptit  has these dots. Barbara
