[stylist] How to find your story - RE: question about a storyIwrote

Around 1923 or 1924, Ernest Hemingway was in Spain. His wife was coming to
see him from Paris by train with their son. He asked her to bring the short
story he was working on so he could finish it. For some unknown reason,
Hadley, his wife, packed all of his writings into a valise and brought it
with her. As you can probably guess, with a baby and luggage and train
transfers to deal with, Hadley left the valise on the train and all of
Hemingway's work was lost. At first, as you might imagine, old Ernie was
bullshit. But later he said it was probably the best thing for him, because
in recreating his work, it was much tighter and better.

My advice--rewrite your story.
