Hi Donna,
I think I know what you just said. Would you mind saying it another way?

Thanks.

Jim

When we do without something for a long time, we have to make adjustments in
our coping skills to steel ourselves to survive. When the need is satisfied,
the coping mechanisms remain, but they are antiquated or inappropriate, and
we must sort them out. Sometimes, we don't even realize what we were
actually doing until the need for it goes away.
HTH,
Donna

Hi,
I have questions I don't know how to ask. One is: Something I have wanted to
happen for a long time may be happening, and it may be better than I thought
it might be, so why am I totally stressed about it? How can I quickly think
clearly about this? I don't mean think coldly, but something else.

Thanks.

Jim
