[stylist] Request for advice

Hi April,
Thanks for the tips. I had mentioned in my first e-mail to the professor
that I can provide them with .rtf or .pdf versions that they could read on
their computer, but I hadn't thought of including something about the
availability of free e-book readers like Kindle for PC. I think that's a
good idea that I can incorporate seamlessly into the section of my letter
that lays out what versions are available and what e-book readers they work
on.

As for legit ... I'm not contacting schools that I don't already know are
legit, so it shouldn't be a problem. It's something to keep in mind though
for any of us, if we get an inquiry from someone we don't know. Better be
safe than sorry.
Donna

Hi Donna,
I agree it is not a nice thing to have them do.
You can offer two things if you want to work with them:
1. suggest they download the free Kindle for PC app.
2. If you are able to, you can agree to a Skype meeting with their group.

And as always, be sure they are legit before you send them anything.

April
